University education and further training

  • She graduated with a degree in psychology at the Department for Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo (2007). She graduated with a degree in gestalt psychotherapy through the five-year programme at GPTIM, Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Institute of Malta (2011).
  • Through additional training gained experience in the basics of art therapy, music-therapy and family therapy. In addition, she completed several short specialised and focused courses in the field of psychology, psycho-diagnostics and psychotherapy. Upgrades and shares professional knowledge through participation at scientific and professionals congresses in the field of psychology, counselling and psychotherapy where has also presented her own papers.

Professional experience and psychotherapy

  • Through non-government programmes provides counselling and psychosocial work with children, adolescents and families facing different life difficulties and challenges. Possesses experience in the individual approach with children, through gestalt and different methods of art therapy.
  • In addition, has experience in running parent groups and individual therapy with adults. She has practiced psychotherapy under supervision since 2008. Within the strategy for youth, leads counselling groups for youth, using gestalt methods.
